I am so excited & honoured to have been invited to join the Kerry Business Women committee!

Amazing things happen when you get outside of your comfort zone and I bet many of you here can relate with the feelings of uncertainty or doubt that can often stir before making a big decision, like; “Do I start my own business?”, “Will people like my product or service?”, or “Do I really have to get on camera?” – You’re not alone!

Since moving to Kerry 3 and a half years ago, I have really pushed out of my comfort zone! Let me share a little behind the scenes –  I’m a Canadian ex-pat with a Primary Teacher Degree who was living abroad & teaching in Germany, who met a Kerry man who asked me to step outside of my comfort zone once again and move to Ireland to run his family’s Bed & Breakfast!

And that’s exactly what I did! In these 3 and a half years, I’ve welcomed guests from around the world & created our own ethos and style in Slieve Bloom Manor Eco B&B, created The Official Killarney App – now known as The Official Kerry App and during a pandemic I began my Digital Marketing business called The Digital Ripple. Over these surreal years in Kerry I found new exciting passions and skills within me while embracing & celebrating the failures ( = feedback) & opportunities that came along!

Magic happens when you take a deep breath and step into the unknown!
