KBN Collab Series w/ The Club on May 31st

Join us on May 31st at the Great Southern Killarney from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. As Kerry Businesswomen’s Network are thrilled to collab with The CLUB Women’s Network to launch our new event series, “THE COLLAB Series,” inviting women in business and professionals from all backgrounds to attend. Sharing the benefits of collaboration and cooperation in diverse communities, the benefits of diversity in business, and the value of collaborating – cooperating – working in partnership at a community and small business owners level.
Our MC of the event will be Sian Horn, Founder of the Club, Coach, Podcaster, Business Entrepreneur. With 30 years of experience in an array of sectors, Sian’s leadership has been built upon one fundamental focus; a customer-centric approach that results in better team performance and shareholder outcomes. Alongside her on the panel will be Helen Lowry, a freelance trainer and a contributing lecturer on community work programmes with the Department of Applied Social Studies Maynooth University and brings with her almost two decades of organising and campaigning with migrant communities on social justice, equality and migrant worker rights issues. Also on the panel will be Ciara O’Donnell Ciara is a professional photographer and business owner. She had a rich background in creative industries including Production Designer in RTE, freelance Art Director in the Film Industry and professional commercial & wedding photographer. She has spent the last 11 years building her business Ciara O’Donnell Photography, opening her photography studio in 2020 in Ballyheigue, north Kerry.
Attendees will learn the value of collaborating – cooperating – working in partnership at a community and small business owner level, benefits of being clear about our values in business, along with practices and tools to promote diversity & inclusion in the workplace.
We will also explore the various advantages of fostering diversity within business organizations, such as increased innovation, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Attendees will learn how diversity can enhance decision-making processes by incorporating different perspectives and experiences.
The event will take place on May 31st at the Great Southern Killarney from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We welcome women in business and professionals from all backgrounds to attend this event and engage in fruitful conversations.
A selection of wraps, sandwiches, fruit and something sweet will be provided.
